Gibson’s Finest Sterling
“Masterfully distilled, tenderly aged and blended to perfection. The combination of these aged whiskies results in a superior blend with a unique smooth taste.
Sweet and fruity scents. Mild and slightly floral caramel notes evolve into sweet lemon candy. A faint smell of sweet rye spices. To finish it off, a slight nuttiness wafts up together with just a hint of spirit.
Creamy taste with many fruity notes, that do not overwhelm the palate. The palate quickly moves to citric zest with hints of walnut. Black pepper notes fade quickly, leaving a pleasant warmth behind and, as with all good mixers, there is a trace of spirit.
Medium finish. Fading on tingly peppery spices and caramel.” Website

Canadian Club Sherry Cask
“Canadian Club® Sherry Cask proves Canadian whisky can be so much more than just an ingredient in a Manhattan. To make Sherry Cask, very small quantities of our finest whiskies are aged for at least 8 years in white oak barrels and then double matured in Fino sherry casks imported from Jerez, Spain. Rich, full and rounded colour. A mix of ruch Mediterranean fruits, gentle oak and sherry. An intriguing presence of sultanas, dates and fig in balance with roasted grains and mellow oak. A deep and enduring sweetness that closes with subtle sherry and oak.” Website

It has been rated the #1 tasting whisky in North America by discerning Whisky Judges and has taken home the most esteemed accolades possible for a whisky. The Result is a unique whisky that is smooth and mellow but also intense and complex with a character of its own. This unique barrel selection process results in a whisky where aromas of honey, vanilla and apricot fuse with toasty oak, black walnut and spice. The flavour is rich and bold on the palate and is completed in a smooth, long finish.” Website
Forty Creek Double Barrel
“These barrels are excellent for ageing whiskies because they are “seasoned”. This means most of the fresh harsh oak tannins have been removed and what remains is all the good stuff, such as the softer oak tannins, wood vanillas, sugars and the toasty, smokey, spicy aromas, as well as the caramelized flavours from the heavy charring of the inside of the barrel. After ageing my rye, barley and corn whiskies in their own special barrels, I decided to bring them together as a meritage, and placed the three whiskies into the bourbon barrels. This double barreling allowed the whiskies to hang out together and take on the subtle qualities offered by the bourbon barrels to enhance the finishing of the whisky. Forty Creek Double Barrel has a wonderful golden roasted aroma filled with deep vanilla notes and highlighted with toasted spice, pecan and walnuts. There is a caramelized creaminess to the flavour with a rich spice that lifts it off the tongue. The finish is very smooth, mellow and extra long.” Website
J.P. Wiser’s The Last Barrels
“J.P. Wiser’s Last Barrels is a one of a kind Canadian whisky that was made using a sour mash method which resulted in a complex yet smooth tasting whisky. This last batch of whiskies has been maturing in oak barrel barrels since 2001 and will never be produced again. Bold, deep, and truly the last of its kind.”
Gibson’s 12 Year
“Master blenders use a unique blend of aged whiskies, the youngest of which is twelve years old, to create a harmonious, well-balanced Canadian whisky. Gibson’s Finest 12 Year Old is one of the few whiskies possessing a guarantee of ageing so you can always be sure you are enjoying a smooth, exceptional 12 year old Canadian Whisky. Gibson’s Finest 12 Year Old is a truly remarkable Canadian Whisky that is renowned for its sophisticated character, extraordinary smoothness and outstanding flavour.
Early scents of fruitiness is soon displaced by aged oaky notes and red cedar. Right after the first swirl, caramel custard, butterscotch, and hard candy take over before the fruit returns. Strong suggestions of dry tobacco leaves followed by milder suggestions of dry grain.
Sweet and silky taste, but with lots of bitter citric zest, fresh-cut wood, spicy white pepper and hints of tingly ginger ale. All this balances magically against an underlying citric bitter- ness. A weighty body and creamy slightly slippery mouthfeel merge with toffee notes and burnt sugar. Fresh fruit and inklings of rye spices and Christmas pudding round it out.
Medium long finish, hot and peppery, some sweetness.” Website
“A one-of-a-kind, 10-year-old Canadian sipping whisky, double distilled in small column copper stills and aged to perfection in first-use, white oak Bourbon barrels. This hand-crafted whisky is uniquely finished in vintage port barrels that smooth out and release luscious undertones of flavour, carefully blended and then bottled in small batches.” Website
Gooderham & Worts
“Gooderham & Worts four grain blend is the third outstanding whisky in their Whisky Guild series. Spicy, peppery, and beautifully pulling on first sip, once again the floral notes jump out at you. With dry dusty grain, sweet fruit, and pithy orange peel there is just enough sweetness to hold everything together without the rush of caramel so often found in whisky that has spent time in new barrels. Using four grains – corn, rye, wheat and barley – has given Gooderham & Worts a broad range of cereal flavours. The whisky feels lush in your mouth and is simply jam-packed with flavour. So complex, yet so tightly integrated, it is difficult to tease all the separate elements apart.
A long, peppery finish shows overtones of unmalted barley, dry orange peels, pleasingly bitter oak tannins and dark fruits.” Website
Lot 40 Single Copper
“Lot No. 40 is expertly distilled in small batches using only the finest locally sourced ingredients. By distilling in a single copper pot still, the result is a whisky that starts off earthy and woody tasting and then becomes full bodied and complex with a velvety vanilla oak finish.” Website
Ninety Canadian 20 Year Old
“Nose: Rich, full, and luxurious with long-matured spirit, dark fruit, sweet green apples, butterscotch, corn syrup, maple cream, corncobs, nutmeg, and cloves. Simply gorgeous.
Palate: Creamy sweet and very rich with peppermint, candy cane, hot white pepper, cinnamon, ginger, and just bucket loads of Christmas baking spices. The slight earthy mustiness of cooked corn cobs provides counterpoint to sour fruit and sweet spices. This is big whisky with creamy milk chocolate that mellows crispy oak and slightly astringent tannins. Huge, complex, and beautifully balanced.
Finish: Long, sweet, and spicy with lingering hints of corncobs.
